Designed with classic courtside, racket-sport and track-and-field traditions in mind, this edition of the 440 features a protective raised collar silhouette inspired by classic ‘70s running footwear styles. Constructed with a combination of dual layers of suede in high-wear zones, breathable mesh has been positioned on the side panels for ventilation and reflective heel perforations provide a bold safety element for night time sessions. Helping to keep the foot secure when active, the full length lace fastening sits on top of a padded mesh tongue adorned with a branded label around its top edge and on either side of the foot bold ‘N’ emblems bring a signature touch to the design. Within the shoe a C-CAP heel wedge helps to protect the foot against impacts and further branding wraps around the back of the foot. Coloured to suit the rest of the design for a streamlined look, the midsole and NDurance rubber outsole has been applied using a durable cupsole method whilst the tread presents an intricate mix of patterns for an impressive level of grip.
